How a residential move in The Hague works with us
You fill in the quote form or give us a call, and we get in touch within 24 hours. After that we come round for a no-obligation home visit or make a video walkthrough of your home. That shows us exactly what needs to come along, how the stairs run and whether a moving lift (furniture hoist) is needed.
You then receive one clear quote with a fixed price. No billing by the hour and no surprises afterwards; if a moving lift is needed, the hire is already included in that price.
On moving day our team is at your door on time with our own truck and equipment. At the end we walk through the new home together with you. Only when everything is in its place are we done.
From a walk-up in Laak to a new-build in Ypenburg
No two moves in The Hague are alike. In Laak, Moerwijk and Transvaal we carry household contents through cramped walk-up stairwells without a lift; where something will not fit, we set up the moving lift at the window. In the Statenkwartier, the Archipelbuurt and the Zeeheldenkwartier you find townhouses with narrow, steep stairs.
There we know what will and will not fit through, we protect every banister and take large pieces apart where necessary. The flats in Mariahoeve and the new-builds in Leidschenveen-Ypenburg call for a different approach again: loading smartly and getting the truck as close to the entrance as possible.
Moving from or to the city centre, around the Binnenhof, Plein or Lange Voorhout? Then a parking exemption is needed for the truck or lift. We apply for it for you at the municipality.
